Muyu New York began with my love for family, tradition, and the softest fabrics nature has to offer.

I grew up in a small fishing town in Peru, surrounded by hardworking families and a strong sense of community. With roots tracing back to the Andes, I was raised with a profound respect for craftsmanship, culture, and the gentle wisdom of nature. I chose the name Muyu—which means “seed” in Quechua—because it represents life, growth, and the beauty of nurturing something from the very beginning.

When I became a mother, everything shifted. I wanted only the best for my baby—especially when it came to what touched their skin. That’s when I knew it was time to bring my vision to life: a baby clothing brand that blends my Peruvian heritage with luxurious softness, modern elegance, and natural materials. Every piece is lovingly made in Peru from the finest Pima Cotton, an ultra-soft fiber known for its durability, breathability, and hypoallergenic properties—perfect for a baby's delicate skin.

But Muyu New York is more than clothing. We work closely with skilled artisans and manufacturers in Peru to ensure everything is crafted with care and love. Our mission is to support them, providing fair opportunities while preserving traditional skills. And as we grow, our goal is to give back even more to the communities that inspired this journey from the very beginning.
